Caring For Your New Artwork

Your new artwork is valuable and an asset. Rarely, if ever, does artwork depreciate in value, indeed it is safer than most any other investment. Thus, if taken care of properly, it will afford you aesthetic, psychological, and monetary gains that cannot be had in any other fashion for many years. Your new artwork needs to be handled with extreme care to ensure its longevity and value. There are a few simple things to keep in mind to accomplish these goals.

First, your new artwork has been sprayed with a fixative in an attempt to secure the medium from harm. That said, do not touch the actual drawing with your hands or with any other article as this may jeopardize the integrity of the medium by smears and smudges, or removing the medium altogether.

lastly, do not hang or display your new artwork in an area where it will be exposed to, or have direct sunlight. While the colors are pretty hardy, direct exposure to sunlight may cause some of the colors to fade over time--the sun is pretty powerful regardless of how safe we are.
